Jeffrey Hermanns. I am a Professional Forester with over 35 years of hands-on experience in forest management and wildfire suppression. My work has included in-depth study of wildfire behavior and effective strategies for creating defensible space around homes and properties. I’m passionate about empowering landowners with the knowledge and tools to protect their land. With a strong foundation in sustainable forestry practices, I focus on reducing insect infestations, enhancing wildlife habitat, and restoring forests and rangelands to their healthiest, most resilient state. Over the course of my career, I have built hundreds of miles of roads and trails—improving access for wildfire defense, timber harvesting, and forest regeneration.

Katie Hermanns. I am an experienced project manager with a growing foundation in forestry—what my husband fondly refers to as a “forester-in-training.” With a background in real estate development and land management, I bring a practiced eye for land value enhancement and thoughtful design. I am passionate about serving people and dedicated to creating and elevating beauty on the lands we steward for our clients.

We thrive on working together, enjoying the outdoors, and serving our clients in every aspect of the job—from hands-on fieldwork like operating equipment and felling trees, to designing roads, writing position descriptions, developing operations manuals, and preparing detailed risk assessments. We have a deep love for Alaska and the Rocky Mountain Region and feel fortunate to call both places home. As a true family-owned business, we’re proud to occasionally work alongside Jeff’s sons as well.
