While many of our projects are large scale operations, we love doing quick weekend jobs, like this 10 acre parcel outside Billings, Montana. The goal was wildfire mitigation and thinning the forest to allow for healthy growth and wildlife. Smaller scale jobs like these are our bread and butter and we meet some of the very best clients through this work.
This was a densely forested property in need of thinning to protect against forest fires.
In just a few short days the transformation was striking.
It's always amazing to see the wildlife checking out the newly thinned areas. We are always conscientious about leaving "wildlife islands" in our projects which are smaller areas of untouched forest where wildlife can quickly hide if they perceive threats.
