What a gem of a project: helping a kind, off-grid couple in stunning Montana. They taught us so much about resilience and living close to the land, and by the end, it felt like more than a job—we’d gained friends along with happy clients.
Wildfire protection was top of mind for these clients around their homestead and buildings. We didn’t stop at timber removal—Jeff also performed an in-depth assessment of every available option for wildfire prevention and home defense, giving them clear, actionable ways to stay prepared.
These clients were very engaged in the process and enjoyed helping us throughout the project.
In addition to the trees removed for fire prevention, there were a few that were just plain in the way. Once we finished, our clients had a nice open driveway into their home- just the way they wanted. This is the "before" photo.
And this is the "after" photo. We aim to please our customers, and were thrilled to have made our customer's day with this particular transformation.
On every job, we work thoughtfully around utilities, structures, and anything meaningful to the homeowner. In this case, Jeff carefully avoided their fuel supply and took extra care to keep trees well clear of the peaceful resting places they’d created for their pets. We felt truly privileged to be trusted with such tender, precious memories.
We work in remote areas and our equipment must be maintained. Here Jeff is working on our Skid steer. Any mechanic work that can be done on site is done by Jeff or one of his sons in an effort to limit down time for us and for our customers.
